January 2020, Dr. Rooh Heidary, a Ph.D. graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park, has joined GTC as a Senior R&D Engineer. His Ph.D. thesis involved developing hybrid PHM models for pipeline pitting corrosion, considering different types of uncertainty and changes in operational conditions. He has expertise in uncertainty modeling, data analytics for prognostic & health management, risk-based inspection, PHM of IIoT, and PHM of additive manufacturing systems.
