June 2019, Dr. Jubilee Prasad Rao, a Ph.D. graduate from Rutgers University, New Jersey, has joined GTC as a Senior R&D Engineer. His Ph.D. thesis involved performance modeling and wind tunnel testing of a novel vertical axis wind turbine. His research areas and interests include renewable energy systems, design optimization, predictive analytics using system modeling & simulations, machine learning applied to complex engineering systems, and technology commercialization.
